How does it work?

Water is never entirely pure. Minerals like lime, magnesium, and calcium dissolve in water and become conductive particles — also known as ions. The TDS Meter measures the electrical conductivity of the water and converts it into a TDS value in ppm (parts per million). The higher the value, the more dissolved solids are in the water.

These are precisely the substances that remain after drying as annoying water spots and lime streaks on windows, solar panels, and other surfaces. With the TDS Meter, you'll know before cleaning if your water is clean enough for a spotless result.
